Jon Bon Jovi Letter Vows Commitment To Buffalo Bills & Fans

Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi says if he becomes the new owner of the Buffalo Bills, the team will not move to Canada - or anywhere else.  The rocker outlines his intentions in a letter published in Sunday's Buffalo News.  He explains that his ownership group wants to "carry on the legacy" of the team's late founder and owner Ralph Wilson.

Bon Jovi refers to his efforts to purchasing the team as a "life-changing commitment" that he and his family are "prepared to make," and he'll "spend as much time on the ground in Buffalo as needed" to accomplish his goal of making "the Bills successful in Buffalo."  These efforts include building a new stadium for the team "in the Buffalo area."  The singer adds that "every day" his group will bring "the same passion" to the team that the fans do "every Sunday."

This is the first time Bon Jovi has personally addressed the issue publicly, and confirmed long-running rumors that he was attempting to purchase the NFL franchise.  He's reportedly part of a group based in Toronto, which has led to speculation that they would relocate the Bills to Canada if they acquired the team.
