WATCH: Two Chimps Watch 'Planet Of The Apes,' Proceed To Take Over The World

Two chimps in human captivity have not yet taken over the world after being forced to watch a screening of “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” but they did buy their own snacks.

Vali and Sugrive, two chimps that live at the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina, attended a showing of the film, reported ABC News.

The film is about a post-apocalyptic world where talking apes and a colony of humans have to deal with each other. One ape in the movie displays scars all over his body from human lab testing, which may or may not be a worse experience than having to sit through the film. (RELATED: ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Takes On Gun Control)

Although at least two people were cool with sitting next to live chimps during a movie, several people were rightly concerned about the whole thing. “A couple of people said very clearly: ‘Are you sure they should watch this movie, won’t they learn to take over the world?’” Myrtle Beach Safari owner Bhagavan Antle told The Daily Mail. “There were several people actually concerned about that.”
